Excellent Member Experience
Each Medicaid member receives personalized service. Our support team is based in New York and provides the same level of attentive care to Medicaid members and retail customers alike.
What Happens When a Member is Referred to Epicured?
-
Accept Referral: An Epicured Referral Coordinator accepts each referral, usually that same day, and begins to build the member's profile in our Epicured Member System, where all our member interactions are captured. A Member Profile is built in our Epicured Member System on the same day.
-
Contact Member: We immediately initiate contact through our HIPAA compliant communications platform to let a member know we will be supporting them and to schedule an initial counseling session with one of our specially trained RDNs. An Epicured Registered Dietitian calls the Member within 1-2 days and Member has the option to reschedule at their convenience.
-
Assess Needs: An Epicured Registered Dietitian speaks with the member, typically within two days of referral, for one-on-one assessment.
-
Select Nutrition Therapy: Based on the initial referral and assessment, our RDN will select (from among 24 therapeutic options) a menu appropriate to the member's clinical needs, allergies, and dietary and lifestyle preferences.
-
Deliver Meals and Pantry Boxes: Epicured begins to deliver fresh meals (3.2 benefits) and pantry boxes (3.3 benefits) to the member's home, typically within 5 days of referral.
The meals are delicious and healthy. So many different varieties of meals that causes your taste buds to wake up wanting to taste the next meal. The variety of meals helps me to transition to a new and healthy way of viewing food. Eating healthy doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy tasty meals!

I like the way they interchange the items being delivered, that way one would not have the same item that was delivered previously.
