Our customer service team uses the following script to confirm your consent: "For your privacy and security, I need to confirm your consent before we discuss or share any details about your health information. By continuing this conversation, you authorize us to discuss your Protected Health Information (PHI) to help determine the most appropriate meal options for you. This information will remain confidential and be used only as permitted by law. Do I have your consent to proceed?"

Epicured uses a trusted HIPAA compliant third-party service provider’s technology platform to manage the referral-to-ordering process securely. We implement strict safeguards to ensure the confidentiality and security of your PHI, including:

  • Encryption of electronic health information.

  • Secure storage of records.

  • Restricted access to PHI, limited to authorized personnel only.

  • Regular audits to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.

  • Physical safeguards, such as secure workspaces for employees handling PHI.
